How we evaluate software
Every product on AuditGRC is scored on the same five dimensions, whether it is built by a global vendor, a regional player, or by us. Each dimension is scored editorially on a 0–10 scale and revisited at least twice a year, or when a product materially changes. The headline score is then calculated from those five — never set by hand.
The five dimensions

The overall score is the weighted average of these five, computed automatically from the weights in this table — we do not hand-set it, so a product's headline score is always reproducible from its five dimension scores. Scores are shown to one decimal place.
We deliberately weight GCC fit at 20% because this site exists for buyers in the region; a platform can be world-class globally and still be a poor purchase for a Qatari bank that needs in-country data and Arabic board packs. That weighting is a stated editorial choice, and it is the main reason regionally-built platforms — including our own — rank highly here. If GCC fit is not a constraint for you, read the dimension scores on each review rather than the headline number.

- Practitioner interviews — risk, audit and compliance professionals working in the GCC
- Public review platforms, analyst coverage and implementation partner input

Who we are, and the conflict you should know about
AuditGRC is published by Vantage Technologies, a Doha-based software company — and the maker of three products reviewed on this site: GRC Vantage, ControlVista and BCM Stack. We built this site because GCC buyers were being served rankings written for US compliance teams, and we believe honest regional comparison helps the whole market, including us.
We handle the conflict in three ways: our products are scored under exactly the same rubric as every other product; every review of our own products carries a visible editor's note; and we publish genuine limitations of our own products in their cons — check the reviews and judge for yourself. If you believe any score on this site is wrong, tell us at hello@auditgrc.com and we will look again.
What we don't do
- We do not accept payment for placement, rankings or scores
- Vendors cannot pay to be included, excluded or re-scored
- We do not run sponsored "sort orders" — rankings are always by score
